Yukon River

May 7th – 14th. Minto to Dawson City. $2040.00 .

An exceptional bear viewing experience. Fresh out of their winter dens, grizzly and black bears seek out open slopes and the season’s first greenery of bearberry, grasses and crocus to activate their digestive tracts. The bud is not yet out on the aspen, there are lots of migratory birds and virtually no bugs. Hiking opportunities are very plentiful. This trip utilizes freighter canoes.

Teslin River

May 20th - 26th. Johnson's Crossing to Carmacks $1470.00

Cow moose instinctively seek out the protection of river areas at this time of year to give birth which extends a wonderful viewing opportunity to the river traveler. Wildlife in general is abundant – wolves, bears, caribou, furbearers and birds. Campsites are numerous and of good quality. Paddle canoe with freighter canoe option.

Pelly River

Faro to Pelly Crossing. $2300.00

June 16th - 25th
August 20th - 29th

The Anvil Range and St. Cyr Mountains provide incredible vistas and the vast tracts of virgin boreal forest offer up excellent opportunities to view a wide array of northern wildlife. Paddle canoe with freighter canoe option.

Big Salmon River

Quiet Lake to Carmacks. (see below for trip prices)

The first two trips are by paddle canoe and the third is a freighter canoe trip that is limited to two clients. The river is narrow, shallow, moderately fast and with many log piles and sweepers. Portages may be required. An incredibly interactive wilderness experience.
