May 10th – 17th. Minto to Dawson City. $2520. per
person
This trip is an
exceptional bear viewing experience for both
grizzly and blacks. There are lots of migratory
birds as well and there are no bugs! Spring has
broken the icy cast of winter and the river is
just open. The year's first greenery of
bearberry, grasses and crocus brings hungry
bears out into the open for incredible viewing
opportunities. This trip has always utilized
freighter canoes instead of paddle canoes. The
freighters are significantly larger which allows
for a larger and more comfortable camp and they
are outboard powered which can be of safety
significance when there is ice running in the
river. This trip encompasses light to moderate
hiking on a daily basis.
Aug 8th – 13th. $1890. per
person
Our August trip focuses on the human
history of one of North America's most famous rivers.
Most notable was the great stampede of '98, the Klondike
Gold Rush, that drove people from all over the world
into the wilderness of the northwest Yukon in search of
GOLD. A real gem of human history is also Ft. Selkirk,
the hub of aboriginal trade within the Yukon for
thousands of years and the site of the first European
trading post in the Yukon. Trip culminates in Dawson
City for Discovery Day celebrations, a Yukon statutory
holiday that recognizes the discovery of gold on Rabbit
Creek in the Klondike River valley in 1896. For history
buffs and wilderness seekers alike.

This trip is
particularly well suited to two people.
Aishihik Lake is a very beautiful high country
lake near treeline; its water is deep, cold and
crystal clear. This is a fishing trip for lake
trout the way fishing trips are meant to be.
It's old fashioned with tents and a tarp
kitchen. The fishing runs good to fantastic.
Experience the longest days of our year with
sunshine over 21 hours a day. Rafts of ducks are
common and chances are good of seeing wood
bison, caribou, moose and bear. The adjacent
hills of the Ruby Range offer good light hiking
opportunities.
Oct 4th - 7th. $900. per person.
This could be chilly, but the fishing will be
fantastic!

ultimate freedom feeling! Experience the thrill
of 7000’ peaks, grass meadows with innumerable

Quiet Lake to Carmacks. $2900 per person.
The Big Salmon is remote, narrow, shallow,
moderately fast in some sections and has
many gravel bars, sweepers and log piles. Short
portages may be necessary depending on annual
channel changes. The first trip is by paddle
canoe and the 2nd trip is by freighter canoe.
The latter is limited to 2 clients. The season is autumn; a time of migration,
fall colours, the breeding season of
ungulates, harvest moons, frosty nights,
Northern Lights and wolves howling. This is an
incredible wilderness experience that transcends
wildlife viewing.
