Yukon Fishing Trips

Fantastic northern fishing in gin
clear Yukon lakes for lake trout, Arctic grayling and
northern pike
Fishing with Cedar and Canvas
Adventures encompasses deep, gin clear waters
highlighted by alpine hills, numerous bays, lots of
bottom structure, very abundant stocks of lake trout and
the midnight sun!
From ice out in early June to the
first part of July, lake trout congregate in shallow
bays close to deep water which provides for some very
incredible fishing action. Lake trout over twenty
pounds (nine kilograms) are not uncommon.
Fishing for Arctic grayling and
northern pike is also available. Cedar and Canvas
Adventures utilizes 22’ wood-and-canvas freighter canoes
with 30 hp outboards. These huge canoes are not
tippy! Two anglers per guide is the norm, but if
you're a family with kids, we can likely accommodate you
in one canoe.
This is a very comfortable camping
experience with tents and a tarp kitchen. Our
campfire meals are delicious!
Moose, grizzly bear, black bear,
wolf, wolverine, Dall’s sheep, mountain caribou, wild
wood bison, raptors, furbearers and large rafts of ducks
are frequently seen.
