In all our trips, Cedar and Canvas Adventures strives to

fragility of natural ecosystems in Canada's north and
the benefits of conserving Yukon waters, habitat and
wildlife species. Our knowledge and experience is
shared through interpretation, hands on learning,
anecdotal information and storytelling.

Our modes of travel are 18'
wood-and-canvas canoes built on a Chestnut
Prospector form and 22' outboard powered
wood-and-canvas
freighter canoes of Chestnut, Faber and Nor' West
designs for larger loads and increased
comfort.

backpack
trips take you into the Coast Mountains with its many
incredible vistas, peaks up to 2700m, huge meadows of
grasses and flowers, lots of wildlife and the purest and
sweetest of water and air.

This is old time
fishing. No electronics!
Isn't learning still fun? Twenty-two foot (6.8m) wood
and canvas freighter canoes with 30 hp Yamaha outboards,
tent camp with a tarp kitchen, superb campfire meals and
lots of it, Midnight sun so you can fish all day long
and the fishing is good to fantastic, but mostly
fantastic!
The primary fish species targeted is lake trout with
fish in the 20-pound (9 kg) range reasonably expected.
Arctic grayling and northern pike also available.
